BEST Cupcakes in Schaumburg by far!!! We had these for American Education week at my work and I had to know where they came from. They are the perfect texture, flavor, and sweetness level! Purchased many for my daughter’s birthday and will always come back here for these one of a kind cupcakes. Service was excellent and very considerate.

I placed an order with Sweet Occasions on 9/13 for a cake scheduled for pickup on 9/20. When I later requested a refund (well before the pickup date and before any supplies were used) because my mother-in-law had already ordered a cake elsewhere, I was told about a “no refunds within a week” policy. The problem is that this policy was NOT disclosed online or at the time of purchase (via phone) — I was only informed AFTER the fact when I asked for a refund. I also never received an order confirmation number, nor was I asked for my email to send me an invoice or any fine print regarding policies. When I raised this concern, instead of receiving respectful customer service, I was told it was MY responsibility to ask about refund policies rather than the business’s responsibility to disclose them. I was also told that ordering online was a “convenience” for me, not them, and that policies are ONlY posted IN-store. For transparency: consumer protection standards require that refund policies be clearly communicated prior to purchase, especially for online orders. That did not happen here. Needed a 2 tier Pokemon themed birthday cake for my boys. The wonderful gentleman that took my order happened to be into Pokemon too and that’s when I knew I was in good hands. The cake definitely exceeded my expectations and everyone at the party complemented how good the cake look and tasted! It was delish! Customer service was top notch and the cake was priced very fair. Sweet occasions will be my go to bakery from now on and grateful that they are local! Added some of their toys as decor.

I randomly stopped in here today to get some cupcakes for a friends birthday. I got a mix bag of pink champagne, vanilla, chocolate, earl grey, Oreo, and red velvet. All of them were delicious! The earl grey and pink champagne stood out as my two favorites and my friend favored the chocolate and red velvet (and that’s why I got 6 flavors)! The service was great. I didn’t catch the man’s name but he was eager to whip up whatever cupcakes I wanted since they had pretty much sold out by 2pm. They had lots of cute cookies and items to choose from in the window. I will def be going back here. They also offer cupcake decorating parties which seems like such a fun birthday party idea! I will likely try that for me & some friends at some point. Update: They've done it again ❤️ Gluten free/dairy free cake for our little's One-derland birthday party! Have had SO MANY good experiences from Sweet Occasions. We used to go to another bakery, and after terrible customer service experiences we branched out. They are so fun to work with, price accurately, and always come up with fun ideas. Thank you Sweet Occasions for always making our birthdays special!
